Marni Sumbal is a licensed RD who holds a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. She is the owner of Trimarni Coaching and Nutrition which is a business dedicated to helping athletes and fitness enthusiasts all over the world, live a more balanced lifestyle and to learn how to eat for fuel and for health in order to reach personal fitness, diet, body composition, performance and health goals.
Marni currently resides in Greenville SC and has experience as a clinical RD at Baptist Medical Center Beaches in Jacksonville FL. She is a USA Triathlon coach and a 7x Ironman finisher and is currently training for two Ironman triathlons this summer. Marni recently completed her 3rd Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in October in a time of 10 hours and 37 minutes and 10 seconds and has won multiple half-Ironman triathlons.
Marni embraces eating for fuel and for health. She believes in a real food diet to nourish the body and to use sport nutrition properly to support training stress to encourage performance gains. She is a 21-year lacto-ovo vegetarian and enjoys sharing her passion for plant strong cooking through her blog and social media. She also enjoy public speaking and writing and has several published articles in magazines and on websites.
When she’s not changing lifestyles, she enjoys traveling with her husband and enjoying the outdoors with her furry best friend Campy.
